This conductor is not recommended for amateur or beginner application. It is also not recommended for use on a GPU. This stuff is CPU only.
Now to the review:
Liquid pro is the best of the best, with charts showing a 100% difference between it an it's nearest competitor, thermal grizzly. Application is where things get a little difficult. The supplied scouring pad, some ear cleaners, some saran wrap and a bottle of ethanol / alcohol from the pharmacy at at least 70% volume is essential. Working from a clean CPU, you must first scratch up the surface using the scouring pad, this is essential. Once you have the surface completely scratched up you'll need to clean EVER little bit of gray dust that is created. Personally I used some coffee filters but any lint free cloth will do. Just keep adding alcohol to coffee filters, scrubbing down the CPU over and over again until no more gray marks appear on the filter/cloth (and I really mean absolutely 0 gray marks). Then you have to do the same for your cooling block. DO NOT use liquid pro on an aluminum cooling block, it will corrode it and eventually render it useless. Make absolutely sure of what your cooling block plate is made of before you purchase this. Copper is fine, Nickle coated copper is fine... anything but aluminum. Once you have scratched up both surfaces and cleaned them as above. Add a VERY small amount of liquid pro to your CPU in the center. And by small I really mean small. For a 6700k, a dot the size of a lower case "o" is enough (do not do this while the CPU in still on your motherboard!!) Get a cotton ear cleaner and tear off a piece of saran wrap. Cover the end of the cotton ear cleaner with saran wrap (drape it over it - dont squeeze a load of it over the end). Now spread the liquid around. That very small amount will cover the whole IHS. Check for any areas that have pools of liquid on them and spread them out evenly so the entire top of the IHS is covered. From this point on, do not attempt to tilt your CPU as the liquid will run like water and pool at the bottom. Seat the CPU in your motherboard and attach your block (don't move the block around once you drop it on the CPU). Done!. For the liquid to reach it's full capacity it takes a few days but you should see the lower level results instantly. My 6700k runs at 4900mhz and never hits over 60c under prime 95 with this compound, usually you would see 80c with the good thermal pastes that most people use. It just takes time, skill, patients and effort... but doesn't everything that's worth doing? Removal is very difficult and needs the couring pad an alcohol again. Make sure you clean off the bottom of your CPU after a removal too. Liquid pro is extremely conductive.
