Classic tale before Cuba

Having read this book in high school, I decided to read it again (via Cliff Notes) just before we took a trip to Cuba. When the President opened up the People to People Program (cultural exchange with Cuba) in 2011 we signed up for a cultural trip to Cuba with National Geographic. Who can know the mystery of Cuba's early days as well as Hemingway. Although today's youth may find the reading too esoteric, I treasured the refreshing of the this morality tale and the trip to a forbidden land.

This volume covers all the potential literature question types on this text, including imagery, context, and symbolism. My daughter studied from this book and got a perfect score fore her essay on Old Man and the Sea.
