I really enjoyed HMLTD's first album, West of Eden, a wickedly demented record that approached genre like it's a game to win. This time they've really honed in on a concept and made a fantastically cohesive record that will pull you in immediately and reward repeat listens with their intricate song structures and idiosyncratic lyrical style.
If you like art-rock, post-punk and gleefully idiosyncratic artistry, I recommend checking this band out, they're one of the most interesting bands on the scene at the moment and woefully underappreciated in my opinion!
