オーディオ用途で使用。しっかりした造りで安心感があり安価。良く分からないオーディオ用途で販売されているオカルト商品を買うならこちらを買ったほうが断然良い。オカルトメーカのもので無垢純銅プラグなんてよく売るものだと思う。すぐに酸化してしまうだろうから当然酸化膜による抵抗値増が”期待”できる。逆に酸化防止剤が塗られていた場合、結局抵抗値が増大するか、変わらない場合にしてもコンセントの抜き差しで皮膜がはがれて結局酸化する。

クセが無く、安価で音質の良さで気に入って使ってたのですが仕様変更なのか配線を入れる穴が無くなってしまい、エアコンなどのアース線のようなネジに直接接触させる方式に代わっていました。
正直前の仕様のほうが作りやすいので戻して欲しい。

DTMモニター用としてGENELECのスピーカーの電源に使用しています。
医療用とありますが、ごく普通の3ピンのプラグなので何にでも流用できます。
外皮が透明で、万が一内部の配線に問題があってもケースを外さなくても視認できること、いわゆるオーディオ用プラグと銘打っているものと比べても、本製品は製品としての精度や結線の仕方、筐体の作りは価格に反してかなり良さそうだったので選んだ次第です。
肝心の端子部分はおそらくニッケルで、これもまたごく普通のものですが、音質はGENELEC付属の電源ケーブルと比べても可もなく不可もなく、つまりは問題ありません。
一方で、付属ケーブルのプラグより大きくなり、またコンセントタップともしっかり噛合できていると思いますので、とりあえず自作で電源ケーブルを作成される方のファーストステップとして本製品はおすすめできます。これを基準値として、この音に気に入らなければもっと他の純銅、銀、金、パラジウム等のプラグに手を出せば良いと思いますが、相当のこだわりや計測器で測定する方以外は、まずは本製品をおすすめします。
