I was sceptical but managed to get this working for a 2004 PS2 Logitech Driving Force Pro, including force feedback. Took quite a bit of mucking around to get going. It needed very latest beta firmware to get the force feedback happening on f1 22 game on Xbox series x.

Pro tip: don't try to upgrade to the same version of fw you are already on (I unintentionally did this and i thought I'd bricked it - had to completely remove and disable the usb device from windows before it was recognized again). Seems to be enough forum posts etc to muddle through most issues.

After several hours of muck around though it came good. On my particular wheel L2 and R2 don't work but I'm not going to complain for an 18 year old wheel. Was really impressed with how well it works.

Utilisé avec un volant Logitech G29 (donc modèle PS4/PC) sur une Xbox Series X.

Ultra simple, on branche (il y a un ordre à respecter mais c'est très bien expliqué sur le site du constructeur) et c'est directement reconnu par la Series X. Tout fonctionne directement sans rien faire de plus: les différentes touches, les pédales, les vibrations, le retour de force... Bref impeccable.

La seule chose que l'on perd est l'affichage LED du volant pour indiquer le régime moteur mais cela est une exclusivité Playstation (non disponible sur le volant en version Xbox).

Le fait que le boitier soit très petit et ne nécessite pas d'alimentation externe (alimenté par la console) est un plus pour moi.

Ich war anfangs sketisch, da in der Produktbeschreibung die neue Konsolengeneration nicht genannt wird, habe mich aber dann für einen Kauf entschieden. Die Skepsis ist verflogen, Drive Hub funktioniert bei allen getesteten Spielen auf der XBox Series S nahezu problemlos.

Ich spiele bisher Rennspiele fast ausschließlich am PC und nutze hierfür ein Thrustmaster T150 mit T3PA-Pro Pedalen und dem TH8A-Schalthebel in einem Wheel-Stand von Omega.

Die Installation des Drive Hub funktioniert denkbar einfach.

Schritt 0) Firmware auf den neusten Stand bringen (in meinem Fall von 2.0.5 auf 2.0.7):
Software vom Hersteller runterladen und starten, Drive Hub mittels USB anschließen und die P2-Taste gedrückt halten, in der Software aktualisieren klicken, kurz warten, fertig!

Schritt 1) XBox anschalten, Lenkrad mit Strom versorgen

Schritt 2) XBox-Controller in vorgesehenen USB-Port (Controller) am Drive Hub anschließen

Schritt 3) Lenkrad in vorgesehenen USB-Port (Wheel) am Drive Hub anschließen

Schritt 3+) Schalthebel in vorgesehenen USB-Port (Accessory) am Drive Hub anschließen

Schritt 4) USB-Kabel an XBox anschließen, dann MicroUSB (Console) an Drive Hub anschließen

=> Drive Hub "startet", im Display läuft T H 8 und 1 5 0 durch, so dass man erkennt, dass die Geräte erkannt werden

Schritt 5) Spiel starten!

Ich habe den Drive Hub mit folgenden Spielen getestet: Tony Steward All American Racing, Nascar Heat 5, Forza Motorsport 7, Forza Horizont 4, Dirt 5, Wreckfest und F1 2019.

Bei allen der vorgenannten Spiele wurde das Lenkrad und der Schalthebel erkannt und direkt als Standardeingabegerät genutzt. Ich konnte also direkt Kupplung und Schalthebel verwenden (wenn in den Optionen H-Schaltung und Kupplung ausgewählt ist). Eingabeverzögerungen oder Aussetzer habe ich bislang nicht feststellen können. Auch das Force Feedback funktionierte in allen Titeln. Bei den meisten Spielen musste ich das FFB sogar in den Einstellungen reduzieren, weil es sonst zu stark war.

Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Scheinbar haben manche Spiele Probleme mit dem Drive Hub, wenn zusätzlich ein Controller aktiviert ist, der nicht am Drive Hub angeschlossen ist. In den Fällen funktionieren zwar die Knöpfe am Lenkrad, aber die Achsen werden nicht erkannt. Hier genügt es, wenn man den kabellos verbundenen Controller ausschaltet, das Drive Hub kurz abzieht und neu ansteckt (alles, während das Spiel läuft). Das Lenkrad kalibriert sich neu und funktioniert im Anschluss problemlos.
Das gleiche Vorgehen hilft übrigens auch, wenn das Force Feedback mal nicht aktiviert ist. Drive Hub abziehen und neu anstecken, FFB funktioniert.

Fazit: Dafür, dass die XBox Series S nicht offiziell unterstützt wird, bin ich mit dem Drive Hub mehr als zufrieden. Bislang haben alle Spiele ohne Einschränkungen funktioniert.

Ein vergleichbares zweites Lenkrad (Thrustmaster TMX?) wäre teurer und auch sperriger. Da ich die XBox über den Monitor nutze, an dem auch mein PC angeschlossen ist, ändern sich in meinem Fall ur die USB-Port, an denen ich das Lenkrad und den Schalthebel anstecken muss.
