Charlotte is a well known "coaches coach", and her home-grown wisdom and disarming honesty makes this great book very easy and compelling to read. It is full of very usable "lightbulb" moments and quotes which make it an easy going read, and like all good self-improvement or learning genre books it has a call to action at the end of each section.As a coach myself I strongly recommend the read to other coaches, but any person who is just considering setting out on the next chapter on their voyage of self-discovery will get a lot from reading this on their own.

Reading "Career Unstuck" is like having the most supportive, smart, relatable friend rallying you to take action to improve your life and career during a several-hour-long pep talk. Author and coach Charlotte Blair will make you feel supported, guided, and understood. Charlotte's tone is relatable and frank: she shares her own experiences about bad bosses, lack of motivation, and a feeling of career confusion to make the reader feel they are 1) not alone and 2) able to make changes 3) guided through a process of HOW to approach these changes.

Charlotte places a great deal of emphasis on authenticity and self-awareness - who am I; what am I brilliant at doing naturally; and what makes me happy? For Charlotte, this perspective is because of her work as a CliftonStrengths coach, which adds value if you're familiar with Strengths, but definitely isn't required to benefit from her approach. I've now bought this book three times - twice I've given it away to help people "get unstuck!" You'll enjoy this book and enjoy sharing it too.
