Amazing for the price.
For the price dont walk pass this knife. Comes nice and sharp, keeps its edge well and as long as you wash and dry it after use is always ready to go with a beautiful finish. Great gift for someone starting out cooking at home that needs to understand that a good knife makes cooking way easier and more fun. Or grab a few and have one ready to go all the time.

I chose this knife because it had a longer blade than most of the other serrated knives & because it had good reviews.

I have since used it a few times & it does an excellent job; it is extremely sharp.

This is a long knife though, so make sure it will fit in your draw or knife block.

It also comes with a decent plastic sheath to protect the blade in drawers & also to protect hands from accidentally being cut when picking it up.

I have no problems recommending this knife, especially if you need to cut pretty large roasts or loaves of bread.

This slices through bread almost as good as it slices through fingers. Very good for my home made sourdough but please be careful when using as I almost took the top of my finger off. I write this review while waiting for plastic surgery to repair the damage. 10/10

Sharp light knife for cutting and trimming meats. The steel is hard enough to stay sharp but not so hard to sharpen easily and chip. Important to have a small and thin tip area for this. Couple this with a big butcher knife... great for portioning lovely steaks

5.0 out of 5 stars rarely am I so impressed by a knife of this cost

Knife is 11" from bottom base of handle to outside round of blade. However the cutting surface is 10". So feeling is of a 10" knife.

Very surprised. In pretty much every way.

    1. handle quality is surprisingly good and feels comfortable in the hand.

    2. edge is sharp and serrations are pronounced. Tried cutting bread, and it does a pretty good job at cutting cleanly through hard crust and without tearing up the inside of the bread... But I haven't tried meat (yet).

    3. was very pleasantly surprised that this is 3/4 tang and not just 1/2 or 1/4 tang as I was expecting for a knife of this price. (picture shows a magnet where steel in handle ends)
If you wonder why this is such a big deal... it means the handle won't break in half if you apply some pressure in your cut (even though you wouldn't need to for a slicing knife... but still that a good build). Some cheap knives the handle tends to break where the tang ends... which is a big problem for 1/4 tang knives.

    4. well balanced

    5. Serration style can be honed, or sharpened with a round hone or sharpener.

Now this is a low end steel, so if you are cutting a lot of hard crusts then expect that you will have to maintain the edge on this knife with a sharpener rod.

To figure out how good this knife really is? Is to dice 1 lb. of bacon WITHOUT being frozen.
This knife had done an EXCEPTIONAL JOB!!! It glided right through like butter. Didn’t tear or snag. I was TOTALLY IMPRESSED! BUY THIS KNIFE and take care of it. Don’t let it soak in water over night. ALWAYS HAND WASH KNIVES…(you ruin the blade if you put it in the dishwasher) best purchase hands down. You will be very happy with it!
